CALL FOR ARTISTS: Pattern & Design, Curated by Kristine Schomaker at Shoebox Projects

Entry Deadline: 05/31/2024

Pattern & Design, Curated by Kristine Schomaker
I have always been inspired by the Pattern & Design movement of the 1970’s. Whether Crazy Quilts or subway tunnels, mosaic floors or wallpaper, fuzzy lines on the TV or architecture, repetition of line, color, shape and pattern has always attracted my eye. I am having fun filling my experimental art space, Shoebox Projects, with exciting curated installations that become collaborations between myself and the artists. The space is small but mighty! I want to fill it with Pattern & Design as if it was a crazy quilt!
